Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day retail operations at RWB Thrift, managing the sales floor schedule, ensuring products are efficiently displayed, and driving sales through optimized processes. Directly supervise retail supervisors by training, coaching, and evaluating their performance to maintain store standards and achieve sales targets. Handle workforce management by adjusting staffing levels to meet business demands while monitoring labor utilization and timekeeping. Manage candidate reviews, conduct interviews, and facilitate onboarding for new hires. Maintain an open-door policy for employee concerns, partner with HR on incidents, and address payroll, FMLA, and benefits inquiries. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, wage and hour regulations, and company policies while monitoring retail metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to frequently exert up to 25 lbs of force
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Proficient in performing repetitive motions
- Skilled in tasks involving seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands
- Capable of maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling
- Possesses clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
- Required to wear closed-toe shoes
- Ability to work effectively in a noisy environment
- Ability to work effectively in a bright environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High degree of flexibility
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, or customer facing experience
