Job Summary
Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment, leading by example to create a client-centric experience and meet personal sales expectations. Establish clear goals for team members, provide coaching and feedback to improve performance, and assist the Salon Director in controlling revenue, expenses, and labor costs. Maintain an impeccably clean environment by performing cleaning functions and managing inventory while ensuring proper staffing levels. Work nights and weekends within a 5-day week of 35 to 45 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Management and/or Sales experience
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
- Ability to work nights & weekends
- Ability to work a 5-day workweek with approximately 35 to 45 hours per week depending on hourly or salary status
Desired Qualifications
- Beauty Industry and/or Customer Service experience
- Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices
- Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills
- Strong leaderships skills, with the ability to coach and mentor
- Team building skills
- Ability to prioritize and delegate
