Job Summary
Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment, leading by example to create a client-centric experience and meet personal sales expectations. Establish clear goals for Team Members, provide coaching and training to improve daily performance, and generate sales reports while maintaining inventory. Assist the Salon Director in controlling top-line revenue and expenses, help maintain proper staffing levels to maximize productivity, and ensure the salon remains impeccably clean. Work nights and weekends as needed, with a 5-day workweek of approximately 35 to 45 hours. Join Sun Tan City, a family-owned tanning chain with over 250 locations, to help clients build confidence through trusted relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Management and/or Sales experience
- Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously
- Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices
- Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills
- Strong leaderships skills, with the ability to coach and mentor
- Team building skills
- Ability to prioritize and delegate
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
- Ability to work nights & weekends
- Ability to work a 5-day workweek with approximately 35 to 45 hours per week depending on hourly or salary status
