Job Summary
Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment while leading by example to create a client-centric experience. Establish clear goals for team members and provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve daily performance. Maintain an impeccably clean salon environment and assist with inventory, sales reporting, and revenue control. Help maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity while controlling labor costs. Work nights and weekends in a 5-day week of approximately 35 to 45 hours. This role supports Sun Tan City's goal of helping clients look good and feel good within a positive, family-owned culture.
Required Qualifications
- Management and/or Sales experience
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
- Ability to work nights & weekends
- Ability to work a 5-day workweek with approximately 35 to 45 hours per week depending on hourly or salary status
