Job Summary
Develop and coach employees to deliver exceptional client experiences while supervising daily salon operations. Manage staffing levels, handle hiring and training, and ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are met. Drive company metrics by implementing action plans, utilizing financial reports to address performance trends, and conducting regular sales assessments. Maintain a positive example during high-volume periods and resolve client concerns swiftly. Work a 5-day week of 40 hours per week, including varying mid and closing shifts based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Management and/or Sales experience
- Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices
- Strong problem-solving and organizational/planning skills
- Strong leaderships skills, with the ability to coach and mentor while having knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
- Team building skills
- Ability to prioritize and delegate
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
- Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require
- 5-day workweek of 40 hours per week
- Varying number of mid and/or closing shifts each week
