Job Summary
Lead a team to create and maintain the Sun Tan City Experience by supervising workforce operations, making staffing decisions, and ensuring client satisfaction. Develop and coach employees to provide amazing client experiences, follow up on concerns, and consistently set a positive example during high volume. Drive company metrics by developing action plans, implementing programs, and utilizing financial reports to address performance trends. Manage ongoing sales, conduct regular performance assessments, and ensure salon cleanliness, maintenance, and sanitation. Plan and delegate responsibilities to ensure smooth operations while adhering to wage and hour laws. Work a 5-day week of 40 hours per week with varying mid and closing shifts based on business trends. Model Sun Tan City principles to deliver an exceptional client experience in a family-owned tanning salon chain.
Required Qualifications
- Management and/or Sales experience
- Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices
- Strong problem-solving and organizational/planning skills
- Strong leaderships skills, with the ability to coach and mentor while having knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
- Team building skills
- Ability to prioritize and delegate
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
- Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require
- 5-day workweek of 40 hours per week
- Varying number of mid and/or closing shifts each week
