Job Summary
Develop and coach employees to deliver exceptional client experiences while supervising daily salon operations. Manage staffing decisions, including hiring, training, and scheduling, to maintain optimal labor levels and operational flow. Drive sales performance through action plans and regular assessments, ensuring the salon meets company metrics. Maintain strict standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and equipment care, addressing minor maintenance issues and safety protocols. Model Sun Tan City principles with a client-first attitude, holding team members accountable for quality service during high-volume periods. Utilize operational tools for cash management, inventory control, and performance reporting to identify trends and address issues. Work a 5-day week of 40 hours, rotating mid and closing shifts based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Management and/or Sales experience
- Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices
- Strong problem-solving and organizational/planning skills
- Strong leaderships skills, with the ability to coach and mentor while having knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
- Team building skills
- Ability to prioritize and delegate
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
- Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require
- 5-day workweek of 40 hours per week
- Varying number of mid and/or closing shifts each week
