Job Summary
Lead a team to create and maintain the Sun Tan City Experience by supervising workforce operations, making staffing decisions, and ensuring client satisfaction. Develop and coach employees to provide amazing client experiences while following up swiftly on client concerns. Drive company metrics by developing action plans and implementing programs to achieve operational excellence. Manage salon staffing levels, cleanliness, maintenance, and sanitation, ensuring adherence to wage and hour laws. Utilize financial reports to identify performance trends and conduct regular assessments to improve sales. Work a 5-day workweek of 40 hours per week with varying mid and closing shifts based on business trends.
Required Qualifications
- Management and/or Sales experience
- Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices
- Strong problem-solving and organizational/planning skills
- Strong leaderships skills, with the ability to coach and mentor while having knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
- Team building skills
- Ability to prioritize and delegate
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment
- Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
- Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require
- 5-day workweek of 40 hours per week
- Varying number of mid and/or closing shifts each week
