Job Summary
Oversee and drive the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's CLUB credit program and customer experience culture throughout the store while serving as the primary liaison to retail leadership and outfitters. Consistently exemplify outstanding CLUB Customer Service standards by incorporating exclusive benefits into conversations, merchandising cost savings programs for higher visibility, and actively listening to address customer concerns. Build strong relationships with the General Manager, fellow managers, and outfitters to motivate them with training tools, facilitate CLUB 101 onboarding, and implement recognition initiatives to foster a collaborative CLUB culture. Design and execute strategies to meet key CLUB metrics by analyzing daily reporting, developing corrective action plans for missed targets, and ensuring full compliance with operational programs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 to 4+ years Sales, Management, or Leadership Experience
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret a variety of other financial, legal, and technical information
- Ability to read and analyze certain reports
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Managers, associates, customers, and the public
- Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and electronic point of sale and inventory management systems
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, associates, customers and with the Corporate Staff
- Demonstrated use of Team concept of Management
- As needed for training and CLUB off-site events
