Job Summary
Lead daily retail operations at St. Vincent Center, overseeing merchandising, customer service, cashier functions, inventory, and store presentation. Supervise staff and volunteers, support staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations, and foster a positive, mission-driven culture. Drive community engagement, partnerships, voucher and Light of Hope programs, and revenue generation while ensuring safe, organized, and efficient store operations that align with Catholic Charities’ mission. Coordinate with leadership on operational planning, product flow, training opportunities, and service referrals to support individuals and families in need. Ensure accurate cash handling and front-end accountability, and leverage data to monitor sales trends and department performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 years of retail, merchandising, customer service, or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven environment preferred
- Experience in a thrift store environment preferred
- Valid driver’s license and required minimum liability insurance for WA State
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting when required
