Retail Loss Prevention & Safety Lead

Loss Prevention & Safety Lead at Dick's Sporting Goods is responsible for deterring external and internal theft, executing loss-prevention programs, and delivering strong customer service. The role includes detection, investigation, and documentation of theft and policy violations, networking with law enforcement, maintaining incident reports in LPMS, conducting store surveillance and stockroom checks, training store associates on LP programs, ensuring compliance of inventory movement and security procedures, and supporting safety and security of associates, customers, and property. The position requires the ability to walk the sales floor, stockrooms, and office areas throughout the shift, de-escalation of incidents, and collaboration with store leadership to monitor safety trends and implement action plans.
