Retail Loss Prevention Detective

Conduct daily loss prevention and safety tasks, including apprehending shoplifters within established policies, investigating internal and external theft, and coordinating shrink reduction activities. Maintain positive relationships with store management, communicate with associates on damage initiatives, and ensure all evidence and paperwork are accurate and timely. Observe and deter dishonest acts from outside sources while adhering to labor laws and shoplifter guidelines. Complete investigations and surveillance as assigned, demonstrating an understanding of law enforcement procedures and legal activities as needed.
