Engage with borrowers to resolve debt repayment on past-due accounts across consumer loans and credit lines; mentor Borrower Assistant Representatives; perform collections tasks, document actions in Collection System, evaluate borrowers' ability to repay, and advise on recovery methods within loan contracts. Role is part-time, on-site in Canton, OH, requiring strong communication, analytical skills, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to guide customers toward compliant repayment options.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- minimum of five (5) years of collections experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, computer, analytical, and mathematical skills
- current knowledge of resource recovery laws and regulations (e.g., Fair Debt Collection Practices Act)
- ability to wear hands-free telephone headset
- May be eligible for Telecommuting
