Job Summary
Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory routines, and merchandising plans to maintain a clean, premium shopping environment. Engage customers to deliver expert product advice while actively contributing to store and individual sales targets through effective selling techniques. Supervise team members by mentoring staff in customer service, sales, and operational skills to foster a respectful and safe work environment. Proactively identify and resolve in-store challenges to ensure smooth customer experiences. Requires a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Problem solving skills to resolve any issues that may arise in-store
- Highly organized to manage inventory, staffing, and other operational tasks
- Ability and desire to foster a respectful, safe, and fun environment for Skechers store employees
- Comfortable mentoring team members and communicating with all levels of the store team
- Acts with a sense of confidentiality and urgency
- Sales skills to drive revenue growth and meet targets
- Excellent communication skills in written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience as a Key Holder, Shift Leader, or Retail Supervisor in retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry is preferred but not required
