Job Summary
Act as Manager on Duty, ensuring store team tasks align with the store plan and prioritizing operations as needed. Address immediate customer service issues, provide coaching to Associates, and maintain accurate coverage in service areas. Execute opening and closing procedures according to guidelines while ensuring adherence to all labor laws and safety protocols. Promote credit and loyalty programs, support shrink reduction goals, and partner with management on training needs. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, acting as a Key Carrier when store needs require leadership.
Required Qualifications
- open availability, including nights and weekends
- 1 year retail
- 6 months leadership experience
- Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures
- Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores
- Proven problem solving skills
- Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks
- Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
