Job Summary
Operate the POS system, maintain and stock merchandise, and assist customers and donors in a friendly manner. Sort, categorize, price, and distribute all donated and purchased goods while keeping the store sanitary, safe, and attractive. Assist store management with opening and closing procedures, and train employees on store equipment usage. Carry keys to the store and use the alarm code as authorized. This role requires at least one year of customer service experience and the ability to lift 50 lbs. and work standing for prolonged periods. Full-time hours vary with two days off per week. Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate Electronic Cash Register
- Credit Card Draft Capture Terminal
- 10-key adding machine
- read, write, and good math skills
- At least 1 year customer service experience dealing with the public
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- reach 6 ft. (or can with ladder)
- sufficiently mobile to work assigned schedule
