Job Summary
Conduct daily store operations as Manager on Duty, ensuring opening/closing procedures and operational tasks align with company guidelines. Address immediate customer service issues, provide coaching to Associates, and maintain accurate associate coverage for a positive experience. Prioritize store activities, manage shrink reduction goals, and promote safety awareness while adhering to labor laws and policies. Act as Key Carrier when store needs require leadership, utilizing discretion to satisfy customers and fostering a culture of integrity. Maintain accurate associate coverage in service areas and communicate effectively with management on priorities and progress updates.
Required Qualifications
- open availability, including nights and weekends
- 1 year retail
- 6 months leadership experience
- Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures
- Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores
- Proven problem solving skills
- Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks
- Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
