Job Summary
Conduct daily store operations as Manager on Duty, ensuring opening/closing procedures and operational tasks align with the store plan. Address immediate customer service issues, provide coaching to Associates, and maintain accurate coverage in service areas. Prioritize tasks, communicate priorities with management, and partner with leadership on training needs to increase team effectiveness. Act as Key Carrier when store needs dictate, supporting shrink reduction goals, safety awareness, and credit/loyalty programs. Maintain adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures while fostering a culture of honesty and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- open availability, including nights and weekends
- 1 year retail
- 6 months leadership experience
- Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures
- Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores
- Proven problem solving skills
- Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks
- Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
