Job Summary
Act as Manager on Duty, ensuring store team tasks align with the store plan and prioritizing operations as needed. Address immediate customer service issues, provide appropriate coaching to Associates, and maintain accurate coverage in service areas. Execute opening and closing procedures according to company guidelines while ensuring adherence to all operational procedures, labor laws, and safety policies. Promote credit and loyalty programs, support shrink reduction goals, and partner with management on training needs. Act quickly under challenging circumstances, multi-task effectively, and provide feedback to Associates. Requires flexible schedule including nights and weekends; starting pay $15.75 to $16.25 per hour. Located at TJ Maxx Store 0411 in Richmond, VA.
Required Qualifications

- 1 year retail
- 6 months leadership experience
- Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures
- Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores
- Proven problem solving skills
- Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks
- Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
