Job Summary
Jewelry Sales Associate (Part-Time) at Boscov’s: drive sales and deliver customer-focused service in a fast-paced retail setting. Build customer rapport, provide product information, close sales, and manage transactions while maintaining the selling floor and assisting in stock replenishment. Responsibilities include greeting customers, applying product knowledge, processing transactions, opening new Boscov’s charge accounts, and supporting marketing and policy adherence. Must be capable of working varied days/hours including evenings and weekends, possess retail or customer service experience, strong math and communication skills, and be proficient with a POS register and telxon. Competitive starting pay of $16.15 per hour plus commissions, plus benefits such as medical, 401(k) with match, weekly pay, vacation, and employee discounts.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience, preferred
- Prior retail and/or selling experience in Fine Jewelry/Gemstones preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with basic math skills
- Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS register and telxon
- Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends
