Retail Hardgood Sales Associate - Winter 2026/27

Prepare the Pro Shop for daily operations, restock products, and maintain cleanliness standards through proactive cleaning and dusting. Welcome customers with warmth, ascertaining their specific needs through active listening and comprehensive product knowledge to present tailored purchase options that drive sales conversion. Execute accurate POS transactions, including special orders, returns, exchanges, and coordination with the inventory management team while applying appropriate discounts. Receive and process new merchandise shipments with accuracy, verify packing slips, and monitor inventory levels for popular items to communicate low stock alerts. Inspect display fixtures daily, organize products throughout operating hours, and update promotional signage as directed. Research and maintain knowledge across all hardgoods product categories, practice product demonstrations and fitting techniques, and inspect/test equipment upon renting and returning. Tune, repair, and wax equipment as needed to ensure premium presentation and performance, removing damaged items from the fleet and reporting them to management.
