Job Summary
As our Repair Technician, you will interact with customers to provide a positive experience, service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship, maintain store-owned gear, and complete warranty repair work. The role emphasizes customer service, initiative in identifying opportunities, and the ability to train others while building product and sales knowledge through GC certification. Located in Chicago, IL, at Guitar Center, you will contribute to delivering quality repair services and supporting store operations.
Required Qualifications
- Skilled understanding of repairing Guitars
- Interacting with customers to ensure a positive experience
- Service customer-owned instruments with craftsmanship
- Maintain store-owned gear as requested
- Complete warranty repair work
- Able to train learners and communicate information effectively
- Foundational product knowledge on Guitar Center products (preferred)
- GC certification program understanding (selling)
