Retail General Manager

Visionworks General Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for driving store profitability while delivering a high-touch patient/customer experience. The GM leads a service-driven team, collaborates with a doctor, plans daily operations, manages incoming traffic and eyewear services, hires and coaches store associates, removes obstacles in the customer journey, and oversees broad operational activities to meet financial and customer-experience goals. The role requires strong business acumen, people leadership, and a focus on consistent, exceptional service throughout the patient journey from appointment to eyewear pickup. Education requirements include HS diploma or GED with Bachelor’s degree preferred; a current State Opticians License is required for Licensed GMs; candidates typically possess three or more years of related management experience and optical management experience is preferred.
