Job Summary
Oversee daily retail store operations including financial oversight, physical inventory management, and cannabis storage compliance. Motivate team members, resolve issues quickly, and drive sales goals and KPIs to improve overall performance. Handle cash and debit transactions precisely while maintaining a balanced drawer, unpack and sort merchandise requiring special handling, and train budtenders and shift leads. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure the store remains clean and organized. Maintain a professional distribution process compliant with state and local guidelines. Review inventory supplies and ensure adequate stock for daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Associate Degree
- 3+ years of retail management experience within the cannabis industry
- Verifiable product knowledge of flower, concentrates, edibles, topicals, dosing instructions, extraction methods, and methods of consumption
- Strong point of sale and industry compliance tools, specifically Dutchie and Metrc
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Applicants must consent to a background check
- Must have a valid State-Issued ID or U.S. Passport
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have no scheduling restrictions
- Must be able to occasionally lift 50+ pounds
- Must be able to either sit or stand for long periods of time
