Job Summary
Lead cannabis retail store operations in Poughkeepsie, NY, overseeing staff scheduling, inventory management, compliance with local/state regulations, and loss prevention. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals; recruit, train, coach, and mentor a high-performing retail team; ensure exceptional customer service for patients and customers. Manage inventory, conduct audits, ensure store security, collaborate with regional/corporate teams on marketing and promotional events; analyze sales data to optimize store performance and maintain accurate reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably within the cannabis industry.
- Proven track record of success in achieving sales goals and exceeding customer service expectations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail point-of-sale systems.
- In-depth knowledge of cannabis products (medical and recreational) is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
