Job Summary
Lead the retail sales team by example, ensuring each customer receives the best experience through insightful product knowledge and a happy, optimistic outlook. Take ownership of the sales floor and team to prioritize customer experience, while preparing fitting rooms, finding sizes, and providing honest feedback on merchandise style and fit. Motivate the team to achieve sales goals in a commission environment, seek new product knowledge in the broader fashion landscape, and communicate inventory needs to support business objectives. Manage all shipments, inventory, and daily store maintenance including restocking, visual merchandising, and re-ticketing. Utilize strict protocol and safety standards for opening and closing the store, encouraging employees to adhere to punctuality and role responsibilities. Work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with availability for at least one weekend day.
Required Qualifications
- Available morning and/or evening, work 8 hour shifts, 5 days/week, available at least 1 weekend day
- Must be a leader in punctuality and attendance, adhering to scheduled shifts
- Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues
- A customer service expert, creates experiences and develops relationships with customers, embraces the social aspect of sales and the ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
- Strong organizational skills and follow through skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Eager to develop new skills and responsive to feedback
- Willingness to lift and move products and equipment and boxes weighing up to 30 lbs
- Willingness to stay active and move throughout the store during each shift
- Willingness to reach, bend, and use a step stool or ladder when needed
- Willingness to work in an environment with bright lights and music
- Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
