Job Summary
Fulfillment Colleague at Macy’s Santa Ana Mainplace responsible for both sales-floor engagement and back-of-house order fulfillment, including selecting merchandise, packing/shipping online orders, and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup. Focus on delivering authentic hospitality, resolving customer issues, maintaining a shoppable space, restocking merchandise, and meeting daily sales goals while supporting operational excellence. Emphasis on teamwork, customer-centric interactions, loyalty benefits education, credit-account opening, and flexible scheduling to include weekends. Requires physical tasks such as standing, lifting up to 30 lbs, and climbing ladders; strong communication in English and ability to follow safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
- Meeting daily sales goal challenges
- Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information
- Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities; you can work on your own but are great with team dynamics
- Essential physical requirements: talking, lifting, standing, and reaching with arms and hands; standing for at least two consecutive hours; lifting at least 30lbs; climbing ladders; color/depth perception; use of handheld devices and cash register
