Job Summary
Fulfillment and Receiving Colleague (Back of House) at Macy’s Crossgates. You’ll help receive and organize merchandise, pick/pack, process trailers, retrieve orders from stockroom, and deliver curbside for Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS). You’ll support inventory accuracy, restock merchandise, recover the floor and fitting rooms, update signage/pricing, and assist customers with inquiries to contribute to store performance and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes teamwork, meeting daily sales goals, attentive customer service, attention to detail, ability to adapt to changing priorities, and physical tasks such as lifting and standing. Flexible availability including weekends and holidays is required; typical schedules for part-time roles include 12-24 hours per week with weekend shifts, and full-time colleagues are typically 30+ hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Standing for extended periods; frequent movement
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English
