Job Summary
Plan, unload, and check in distribution shipments while verifying merchandise accuracy and executing visual merchandising standards. Manage the receiving area by maintaining back stock, processing outbound transfers, and directing other associates during freight flow operations. Act as Manager on Duty to oversee store opening, closing, and any additional assigned responsibilities. Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, orderly dock and exterior environment. Requires high school diploma, six months of retail experience, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Schedule includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer
- Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks while working within strict timeframes and deadlines
- Positive attitude
- Ability to interact well with customers and associates
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
