Job Summary
Retail Freight Team Leader at Ollie's new store in Dover, NJ, responsible for overseeing the receiving area operations and maintaining freight flow to the sales floor in line with merchandising standards. Manage back stock, disposition of damaged goods, verify incoming merchandise, set up merchandise displays, and process outbound transfers. Direct the work of other Associates, act as Manager on Duty, and perform additional responsibilities including opening and closing the store. Requires experience in retail, ability to supervise tasks under tight deadlines, strong customer service skills, and a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer
- Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks while working within strict timeframes and deadlines
- Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and associates
