Retail Freight Manager

Retail Freight Manager responsible for overseeing the receiving area operations, ensuring accurate and timely freight flow to the sales floor, maintaining back stock, and minimizing profit loss from damaged goods. Primary duties include planning unloads, checking in shipments, merchandising direct vendor shipments, coordinating freight flow, maintaining dock safety and orderliness, ensuring merchandise accuracy, and designing displays. Supervises other associates, acts as Manager on Duty, and may open/close the store. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of retailer experience, and flexible scheduling including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong organizational, delegation, and customer-facing skills, plus physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 35 pounds. Ollie’s is an equal opportunity employer.
