Job Summary
Lead in-store operations by planning 30-day workforce schedules, managing opening/closing duties, and executing front-end and cash office functions while processing firearms sales in compliance with ATF regulations. Direct teammates through hands-on coaching on brand standards, merchandising, and safety protocols, while observing interviews and conducting department tours to build a strong, people-first culture. Collaborate with store leadership to align on daily assignments, game plans, and projects, ensuring all tasks are delegated based on priority and organizational goals are met. Maintain an inclusive environment where every teammate feels welcome and safe, adhering strictly to established policies for loss prevention and confidentiality. Requires flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays, with physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and work extended periods standing or walking.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 50 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 70 lbs.+ items intermittently (up to 15 times per hour) with assistance and/or the use of manual lifting equipment, e.g., pallet jack, dolly, etc.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
