Job Summary
Retail Freight Flow Lead at Dick's Sporting Goods leading in-store operations, coaching teammates, and ensuring brand standards and customer-focused service. Responsible for daily scheduling (30-days out) with guidance from store leadership, delegating tasks by priority, training teammates, maintaining floor sets and merchandising, handling Front End/Cash Office duties, and ensuring compliance with safety, LP, and ATF firearms-sale regulations where applicable. Builds an inclusive, high-performing team culture, and provides hands-on coaching to develop talent and deliver a hassle-free shopping experience. Located in Latham, NY with flexibility to support store needs.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
- Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 70 lbs.+ intermittently with assistance and/or lifting equipment.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with ladder or elevating devices.
