Job Summary
Lead Macy’s fragrance counter operations at Herald Square by inspiring teamwork to meet and exceed sales goals, sharing extensive product knowledge, and developing coworkers. Drive sales through brand training, events, and promotions; build customer relationships via the clientele program and loyalty initiatives; coordinate with vendors and store leadership to execute events and promotions. Coach and develop colleagues, conduct product demonstrations and peer-to-peer training, and analyze performance to plan for daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual targets. Oversee presentation, stock replenishment, merchandising, and adherence to safety and asset protection procedures while delivering authentic connections with customers and communities.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
- 1-2 years of direct experience preferred
- Retail/sales experience in fragrance or beauty preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lead and develop a team
- Knowledge of point of sale technology and customer service standards
