Job Summary
Greet customers with personalized fragrance recommendations, demonstrating products, explaining notes and layering techniques, and building lasting relationships through the Loyalty program. Maintain a shoppable sales floor by merchandising new arrivals, processing damages and returns, updating signs and pricing, and ensuring hygiene and compliance standards. Use point-of-sale and mobile technology to streamline transactions, drive daily sales goals, and promote new launches and events while collaborating with the Beauty team. Work full-time hours of 30 or more weeks, including weekends, with flexible scheduling for days, evenings, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to: Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Able to engage customers with warmth and expertise by acknowledging them promptly, assessing their preferences, demonstrating fragrances, and offering tailored product recommendations that enhance their experience
- Drive sales and loyalty by using clientele tools to build lasting relationships, promote new launches and events, and collaborate across the Beauty team to ensure customers discover the full range of products and services
- Maintain a polished and efficient environment through accurate merchandising, inventory upkeep, hygiene and compliance standards, and the effective use of point-of-sale and mobile selling technology
- Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
- Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized and shoppable space, leveraging clienteling tools to promote offers and product launches, participating in sales events, and staying up to date through ongoing training and vendor education
- Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Meeting and surpassing daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
- Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience
- At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required
- Standing for at least two consecutive hours
- Lifting at least 25lbs.
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Reaching, including above eye level
- Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
- All schedules contain weekend shifts as part of the requirements
