Job Summary
Fragrance Sales Associate at Macy’s will create a warm, welcoming environment and deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating and selling a wide range of fragrances and related beauty products. The role involves educating customers on notes and layering techniques, making personalized product recommendations, driving sales and loyalty program engagement, maintaining an organized, shoppable sales floor, processing transactions with POS technology, and collaborating with the Beauty team to meet daily sales goals. The position requires customer service or selling experience (minimum 1 year), flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays, and the ability to convey policies and safety procedures in English.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Comfortable using point-of-sale technology and digital tools
- Ability to engage customers with warmth and expertise to provide tailored product recommendations
