Job Summary
The Retail Food and Beverage Lead is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and stocked foodservice area within a store. Key responsibilities include training associates to execute foodservice programs, managing food preparation and cleanliness, providing excellent guest service through The Hi Five Guest Experience, operating the Point-of-Sale system, and maintaining store and guest security. Qualifications include effective communication in English, the ability to handle transactions, and the physical ability to manage equipment and products safely.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively with customers
- Ability to become Food Safety certified
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and complete required records
- Ability to move merchandise and place it for proper display
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit and +33 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place weight into a dip cabinet at a height of 3 feet
Additional Requirements
- Food Leaders must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales
