Job Summary
The Retail Food and Beverage Lead is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and well-stocked foodservice area, executing foodservice programs and driving sales through proper knowledge and training of associates. The role requires providing outstanding customer service through the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Tasks include food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and organization in foodservice areas, operating the point-of-sale system, and assisting with guest services. Candidates must have effective communication skills and the ability to handle food safety certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to become Food Safety certified
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, and credit transactions
- Ability to recognize numbers and do arithmetic accurately
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to displays
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate temperature exposures below freezing
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place heavy packages into cabinets
