Job Summary
The Retail Food and Beverage Lead is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and stocked foodservice area, understanding foodservice programs and procedures, and assisting in growing foodservice sales. Essential functions include preparing and stocking food items, maintaining temperature logs, ensuring cleanliness and organization of foodservice areas, providing outstanding customer service, operating the Point-of-Sale system, and managing store security and maintenance. The role requires effective communication, adherence to food safety certifications, and compliance with store policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to become Food Safety certified
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to operate all store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, and coupons
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate temperature exposure
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds
- Ability to place packages in cabinets
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales.
