Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Lead is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and stocked foodservice area, including executing foodservice programs and assisting associates to drive foodservice sales. Key responsibilities include preparing fresh condiments, maintaining cleanliness of foodservice areas, managing food safety logs, stocking merchandise, and providing excellent customer service through the UDF Hi Five Guest Experience. The role requires food safety certification, customer interaction, POS system operation, and teamwork to ensure a pleasant environment for guests.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to become Food Safety certified under UDF and state regulations
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, and credit transactions
- Ability to recognize numbers, count, and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as –30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as +33 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds
- Ability to place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
