Job Summary
The Retail Food and Beverage Lead is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and stocked foodservice area within a United Dairy Farmers store. Key responsibilities include executing foodservice programs, assisting team members to enhance foodservice sales, and providing outstanding guest service by following company protocols. The role requires maintaining cleanliness and organization of foodservice areas, ensuring proper operational procedures for food safety, and effectively managing inventory supply to prevent shortages. Candidates must also possess communication skills to interact effectively with customers and adhere to food handling regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to become Food Safety certified
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as –30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as +33 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet

- Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales
