Job Summary
Lead daily floor operations, including walkthroughs, task delegation, and merchandising standards. Oversee opening/closing procedures, register accuracy, pricing checks, and floor readiness. Monitor sales floor and register zones to ensure replenishment, organization, and smooth customer flow. Support weekly scheduling, sales events, promotions, and in-store activities. Manage cash handling, reconciliation, and required administrative tasks. Train and onboard team members on POS, merchandising, loss prevention, and customer service. Assist with hiring, coaching, performance feedback, and policy enforcement. Resolve escalated customer concerns to ensure strong service recovery. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and loss-prevention procedures. Report hazards, incidents, and policy concerns to leadership. This 12-month contract position provides maternity leave coverage with a salary of $45,760 annually. Requires open availability including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of retail management experience
- Strong passion for retail and delivering great customer experiences
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands continuously throughout the shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Push/pull wheeled containers up to 500 lbs
- Open availability, including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Solid business acumen and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
