Job Summary
Lead the retail sales team by example, ensuring each customer receives an unforgettable experience through insightful product knowledge and honest fitting room feedback. Prepare fitting rooms, manage inventory needs, and maintain visual merchandising standards while closing and opening the store daily. Motivate the team to achieve sales goals in a commission environment, delegate tasks, and handle customer concerns proactively. Work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, including at least one weekend day, with an hourly rate of $18–$20 plus team pooled commission. This role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, community management, and project completion within a fast-paced, active-lifestyle apparel environment.
Required Qualifications
- Available morning and/or evening, work 8 hour shifts, 5 days/week, available at least 1 weekend day
- Must be a leader in punctuality and attendance, adhering to scheduled shifts
- Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues
- A customer service expert, creates experiences and develops relationships with customers, embraces the social aspect of sales and the ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
- Strong organizational skills and follow through skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Eager to develop new skills and responsive to feedback
- Willingness to lift and move products and equipment and boxes weighing up to 30 lbs
- Willingness to stay active and move throughout the store during each shift
- Willingness to reach, bend, and use a step stool or ladder when needed
- Willingness to work in an environment with bright lights and music
- Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
