Job Summary
Conduct daily cash-up reconciliations, balance cashier accounts, and maintain accurate financial reports for the retail and fuel operations. Download bank statements, monitor debtors, capture goods received vouchers, and manage shop and forecourt tills including end-of-day cash-ups and month-end reporting. Oversee stock functions, promotional deals, and fuel deliveries while ensuring correct margins and price changes are reflected in the system. Perform shop inspections, maintain shelf labelling, and create housekeeping schedules for forecourt and shop areas. Handle employee orientation, prepare meeting reports, and manage administrative deadlines to ensure operational efficiency. Work Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with alternate Saturdays 8am to 1pm.
Required Qualifications
- Proven administrative experience, preferably within the fuel or retail industry
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a strong eye for detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle (travel between sites may be required)
- A trustworthy and dependable nature, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- A proactive, service-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure operational environment
- Strong leadership, accountability, and organisational skills
- Reliability, consistency, and operational discipline
