Job Summary
Equipment Services Lead at DICK’S Sporting Goods leads the store service department, including scheduling, maintenance, and repairs of equipment from entry level to high end, with duties spanning bike and snow equipment servicing, quality checks, customer education, and collaboration with the Community Team to showcase service offerings. Responsibilities include preserving records, managing production flow, inspections and repair processes, ensuring equipment is available for customers, mentoring technicians, training new hires, and upholding company standards of selling and customer service with strong product knowledge. The role requires leadership of a team of Technicians, ensuring certification and safety compliance, and delivering exceptional service to athletes visiting the store.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales experience preferred
- 2+ years previous shop experience or equivalent including assembly, service and repair of bike and other equipment; preferred previous experience managing a team
