Job Summary
Conduct early morning truck processing and merchandising starting at 5am on Wednesdays and Thursdays, typically working 10 to 15 hours per week with an extra shift differential. Greet customers at the front entrance or throughout the store, suggesting organizational solutions while designing and selling custom closets. Serve as a register person, enroll customers in the rewards program, and process curbside pick-up orders. Maintain the sales floor, organize the stockroom, and support carryout operations via curbside or parking lot. Assist with cleaning routines including dusting, restrooms, and vacuuming. Adhere to time expectations with accuracy and attention to detail while engaging customers to solve their challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift and climb ladders
- Must be available for early morning shifts (starts at 5am, typically Wednesday & Thursdays)
- Must be able to work 10 to 15 hours per week
- Must be able to work extra $2 shift differential for all early morning truck shifts
- Must be able to work merchandise processing during early morning or evenings (based on the schedule)
- Must be able to adhere to time expectations established for the role
- Must be able to perform tasks with accuracy and timeliness
- Must be able to exhibit pace and attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a smoke-free, drug-free environment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Retail sales experience a plus
- Strong computer skills
- Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers
- Understands retail is an ever-changing industry and requires flexibility in scheduling
