Job Summary
Greet customers at the store entrance or throughout the sales floor, then suggest organizational solutions and design custom closets. Serve as a register person, enroll shoppers in the rewards program, and process curbside pick-up or delivery orders. Maintain the sales floor and stockroom to brand standards, while working merchandise processing during early mornings or evenings. Support carryout by assisting customers with loading their vehicles, and assist with cleaning routines including dusting, restrooms, and vacuuming. Adhere to time expectations with accuracy and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- The Container Store promotes a smoke-free, drug-free environment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Retail sales experience a plus
- Strong computer skills
- Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers
- Understands retail is an ever-changing industry and requires flexibility in scheduling
