Job Summary
Retail Donation Attendant at MERS Missouri Goodwill in St. Charles: provide positive customer service interactions, assist donors with donation drop-off, thank donors, and offer donation incentives and tax receipts. Sort donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online sales, outlet, trash) per guidelines; notify management of hazardous or inappropriate merchandise. Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily; stock, straighten, rotate, and clean the store area; uphold cleanliness through sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces. Build professional relationships with team members and leadership; collaborate across teams to improve communication. Follow safe work practices to keep the workplace hazard-free; remove obstructions and keep aisles clear. Maintain a professional appearance per dress code. Safeguard agency assets (cash, donated items, purchased items) from harm and theft, and report incidents. Adhere to policies, procedures, safety, and security regulations. All other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications

- High School Diploma/GED Preferred
- The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management
- Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population
- Necessary math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
