Job Summary
District Manager for Dollar General in Vicksburg, MS and surrounding area responsible for leading store teams across assigned stores, achieving area sales targets, ensuring strong customer service, managing inventory presentation, planning and execution of company objectives, optimizing scheduling and labor, recruiting and developing staff, and safeguarding company assets. Requires experience in multi-unit retail management with full P&L responsibility, ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and willingness to travel weekly in a company-provided vehicle; Bachelor's degree is preferred. Note: travel in a company-provided vehicle with limited overnight stays and a current driver’s license is required.
Required Qualifications
- Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility, managing multi-unit operations in retail, grocery or convenience store operations with full P&L responsibility
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Big-box retail management and/or equivalent education and experience will be considered
