Job Summary
Retail District Manager for Dollar General in Minden, LA oversees all stores in the assigned area with full P&L responsibility, driving area sales growth, optimizing inventory and storefront presentation, leading store teams, and ensuring execution of company objectives. Responsibilities include recruitment, training, employee development, loss prevention, budget and cost control, scheduling, merchandising, and collaborating on real estate site selection and market strategies to achieve regional targets. Must demonstrate strong leadership, financial analysis, and customer-service focus, with capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. Note: position requires weekly travel in a company-provided vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility, managing multi-unit operations in retail, grocery or convenience store operations with full P&L responsibility.
